About The Position
This is a full-time 12-month faculty position in the Department of Occupational Therapy with administrative responsibilities as the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program offered at the rank of Instructor or assistant professor (depending on experience) with a start date of November 1, 2026. The position involves work on Jefferson’s Center City campus.
Requirements
- be an occupational therapist
- have a doctoral degree
- have experience as an academic fieldwork coordinator or fieldwork educator
- possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- demonstrate experience and skill in teaching, collaboration, and sustaining partnerships
- be open to novel and dynamic processes to support students through experiential learning
Nice To Haves
- Experience in innovative program development and serving the community is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple ongoing projects and communicate effectively with community partners, entry-level program director and faculty
- Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure program compliance and ACOTE standards are met
- Collect and interpret data for fieldwork curriculum development
- Guide students on developing skills needed for site specific learning objectives
- Ensure students meet site health and onboarding requirements for fieldwork
- Schedule and confirm student placements
- Advise students and fieldwork educators related to experiential learning
- Maintain a faculty-centric scholarship agenda
- Engage in internal and external service
