Requirements

  • Earned undergraduate degree in business from an AACSB-accredited institution and a master’s degree in entrepreneurship, management, or a closely related discipline from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of entrepreneurial experience, including founding, managing, or growing a small business or venture.
  • Demonstrated potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver undergraduate courses in Small Business Entrepreneurship.
  • Develop course syllabi, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with experiential and applied learning objectives.
  • Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and evaluate learning outcomes.
  • Engage students in hands-on, project-based learning experiences, including work with local businesses and entrepreneurial ventures.
  • Foster entrepreneurial thinking, opportunity recognition, and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide mentorship and academic support to students pursuing entrepreneurial and small business pathways.
  • Incorporate innovative teaching approaches, including experiential, case-based, and community-engaged learning.
  • Adhere to university policies and AACSB accreditation standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain instructional effectiveness and relevance.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to support program development and community engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute to service activities including committees, student recruitment, outreach, and mentorship of adjunct faculty.
