Instructor of Counseling - 9 MONTH

This Instructor of Counseling is responsible for teaching, depending on unit need, Clinical Mental Health (CMH), Rehabilitation (CRC), or Counselor Education (CE) courses in online formats, working positively with students, staff, faculty, and the community, mentoring and advising graduate students, and serving the school, university, and the community. This nine-month, in-person, non-tenure track position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Requirements
- Must have a PhD degree in CMH, CRC, or CE Counseling or a very closely related fields, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program
- Must have a valid state license in specialization (LCP, CRC, or CE or comparable)
- Ability to work with students
- Capacity to teach large numbers of students in any given semester
- Committed to remaining current in the area of expertise and instruction
- Collegial and establish good relationships with our external constituency
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
Nice To Haves
- Graduate online teaching experience
- Professional experience in the CMH, CRC, or CE field(s)
Responsibilities
