This position provides instructional leadership and coordinates skills and simulation-based learning within the Associate Degree Nursing Program. This role designs, delivers, and evaluates laboratory and simulation experiences that build students’ psychomotor skills, clinical judgment, and professional behaviors while ensuring alignment with curriculum outcomes, evidence-based practice, and NCLEX-RN standards. The instructor collaborates with nursing faculty, manages daily lab operations and resources, supports accreditation and quality improvement efforts, and contributes to student success and college service. The 12-month faculty contract covers the entire academic calendar year, from July to June. Faculty members on 12-month contracts receive a consistent monthly salary. Benefits are provided year-round. Renewal of the contract depends on factors such as student enrollment and available funding. Applicants selected for an interview will be required to give a short (approximately 15 minutes) teaching demonstration on the topic to be determined before the interview. Faculty may be assigned courses that include both traditional college students and high school students earning dual credit. This dynamic mix offers a unique opportunity to engage learners at different stages of their academic journey.
