About The Position
The public history program is a flagship program of the department of history which creates high impact experiences for students who build their careers through a series of encounters with museum professionals and course work. This is part-time position. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Requirements
- At least three year of experience in the field of public history.
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- University teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide in person instruction for sixteen weeks in the public history program for the class HIST 240 Introduction to Public History.
- Create and implement curriculum for each class of the sixteen-week semester.
- Create, administer, score, and post grades in a timely manner for student feedback, midterms, finals, and final grades.
