Requirements
- A completed MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a closely related engineering field.
- University-level teaching experience in engineering with demonstrated ability to effectively deliver course material.
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level, supported by letters of reference and teaching evaluations.
Nice To Haves
- Professional Engineering (P. Eng) or Engineering In Training (EIT) designation in Canada is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students
- Non-classroom time including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration (including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty)
- Responsible for the first hour of seminar/lab in each course if employed in a 2-hour/week lecture or equivalent.
