The Instructor Coach (IC) provides instructional leadership and workforce development support as part of the Child Welfare Education Partnership (CWEP), collaborating with the Division for Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) to deliver high-quality pre-service and in-service training, individualized coaching, and competency-building activities for DCYF staff and supervisors. This role strengthens child welfare practitioner learning and professional growth by delivering relevant, rigorous, and practice-aligned training grounded in adult learning principles and aligned with DCYF’s strategic priorities. The IC integrates strategic thinking, family systems frameworks, the DCYF Practice Model, social work theory, juvenile justice concepts, and organizational culture into all training and coaching activities. Working collaboratively with CWEP colleagues and DCYF partners, the IC helps ensure that training is responsive to workforce needs and aligned with statewide expectations in order to improve outcomes for children, youth, and families across NH.
