Part Time Instructor/Choreographer - Auditions
About The Position
DivaDance is a dance experience for adults, offering pop-music inspired, choreography-based dance classes, programs, and parties. We have franchises in over 40 locations and are looking for staff to change lives, empower others, and inspire confidence and community in inclusive, all-levels classes. The application process includes an information session, creating and presenting original choreography, and potentially taking a class if you haven't before.
Requirements
- Experience teaching adults.
- Experience choreographing for adults.
- Super responsive via phone/text.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must submit a video of original choreography with application.
- Must complete online Instructor Development Program.
- Must complete online Membership Sales trainings.
Nice To Haves
- Former dance team experience.
- Former drill team experience.
- Former cheerleader experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach original choreography to songs for all levels, following a consistent DivaDance format.
- Create and present original choreography to an assigned song as part of the audition process.
- Complete the online Instructor Development Program before teaching.
- Complete online Membership Sales trainings.
- Perform membership sales at classes.
- Be responsive via phone/text.
