Instructor / Child Enrichment
About The Position
World Elite is hiring an Instructor / Child Enrichment team member for its facility in Tallmadge, Ohio. Instructors build children’s confidence by teaching real-life skills through movement, play, and structured activities. The curriculum serves children ages 3–12 across three program levels and focuses on emotional regulation, social skills and friendships, confidence and self-esteem, physical confidence, and focus and follow-through. This is a part-time role for a few hours per week, with flexible hours and pay of $21.00 per hour. Full lesson plans and curriculum are provided, so instructors do not need to prepare lessons independently. Training and ongoing support are provided by the team.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their confidence and development.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children in a structured setting, such as teaching, teaching assistance, therapy, counseling, youth coaching, camp counseling, or childcare.
- A passion for child development and confidence building.
Responsibilities
- Teach children ages 3–12 using provided lesson plans and curriculum.
- Help children develop emotional regulation skills, including naming, understanding, and managing emotions.
- Support children in developing social skills, teamwork, communication, and friendships.
- Build children’s confidence and self-esteem through small wins, positive self-talk, and embracing challenges.
- Teach movement, coordination, balance, and safe risk-taking to develop physical confidence.
- Help children practice goal setting, persistence, focus, and following through.
