About The Position

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the TPT-Transportation department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following. Serve as a technical expert and effective instructor for the Automotive program. Assist in developing curriculum material, oversee student projects, and present instruction. Design tests and exams; assign grades, schedule courses, and advise students. Oversee selection and maintenance of equipment. Assist in recruitment and placement of students. Prepare administrative reports. Keep current in technical and professional knowledge. Actively participate in the team management concept of the college. Perform other duties as assigned by department head. Requirements

• Associate degree in Automotive Technology or High School Diploma with six years of demonstrated Automotive work experience
• the ability to obtain ASE Master certification status within the first two years of employment
• a valid driver's license
• ability to lift a range of 50-100 pounds

Nice To Haves

• An Associate degree in Automotive Technology with a minimum ten years of full time demonstrated current work experience in Automotive repair and service
• Master ASE Certified with L1
• Automotive Manufacture Certifications
• teaching and/or training experience
• curriculum development
• a valid driver's license
• ability to lift a range of 50-100 pounds
