About The Position

The Heider College of Business at Creighton University is seeking a non-tenure track faculty member in finance to begin in Fall 2027. This position is located at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, a private Jesuit, Catholic university. The college is looking for a candidate dedicated to high-quality teaching and effective pedagogical methods. The role involves teaching undergraduate courses in corporate finance, investments, and financial modeling, with the possibility of teaching advanced finance electives and graduate courses within the Department of Economics and Finance. The expected teaching load is eight classes per academic year. Additionally, the faculty member will be responsible for academic advising, and providing service to the College, University, and the business community. The Heider College of Business is AACSB accredited and serves approximately 1100 undergraduate and 400 graduate students, with around 70 full-time faculty members and additional part-time professors. The college offers BSBA, MBA, and various master's degrees.

Requirements

• At least a Master’s degree in finance.
• A minimum of two semesters of teaching experience.
• Evidence of classroom effectiveness.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

• CFA ® or CFP ® credential.
• Relevant professional experience.
• PhD (will be considered for Assistant Teaching Professor rank).

Responsibilities
