About The Position

The School of Management (SOM) at Binghamton University (State University of New York at Binghamton) invites applications for one full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level starting mid-August 2027, subject to budgetary approval. The School of Management holds separate AACSB accreditations in Business and Accounting and is nationally recognized for its success in developing future business leaders. SOM is listed as one of the top business schools among fully public institutions by Poets&Quants. The School offers bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. programs. SOM consistently ranks among the top business schools for our undergraduate and graduate business programs. Requirements

A Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field, or will have completed all degree requirements by the academic year obligation start date (August 16, 2027).
Ability to establish a track record of scholarly research.

Nice To Haves

Ability to develop and teach courses in real estate finance.

Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality research and contribute to the intellectual environment of the Finance area.
Deliver required/elective courses in finance at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Contribute to the school, university, and profession through service, including active participation in committees, shared governance, program assessment, and other appropriate professional activities.
