About The Position

The Department of Finance within the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University (OSU) invites applications for a tenure-track Faculty Position in Finance at the Assistant Professor level. The position is scheduled to start in August 2027. We are seeking candidates who can contribute to the excellence of our Finance program. We expect that the individual in this position will foster effective, civil, and respectful working relationships with the Oklahoma State University campus community.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Finance.
• Demonstrated ability to add value to the department’s research mission.
• Demonstrated ability to add value to educational programs through excellent teaching.
• Earned doctorate by August 1, 2027.
• Interest in corporate finance and investments.
• Interest in energy finance or financial planning will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality Finance research.
• Teach two Finance courses per semester at the undergraduate level.
• Participate in service activities to the academic and business communities.
