Instructor/Assistant Professor - College of Nursing
About The Position
The University of Tennessee Health Sciences College of Nursing is seeking a full-time non-tenure Instructor/Assistant Professor. Primary teaching responsibilities include RN to BSN concentration. Teaching responsibilities include both didactic coursework and clinical supervision of students. Responsibilities include undergraduate in-person and online didactic and clinical teaching. Additional teaching responsibilities include teaching across programs and/or concentrations. Research/scholarship activities, as well as service responsibilities, will be determined in collaboration with the Department Chair.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in a nursing specialty from an accredited university required.
- Unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Nice To Haves
- Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree preferred.
- Teaching experience in an RN to BSN or BSN program preferred.
- Experience in curriculum development, in-person, and online teaching preferred.
- Simulation experience preferred.
- Evidence of scholarship and professional service activities is preferred.
