About The Position

The LSUAM COB School of Accounting is seeking an Instructor to serve as the Assistant Director of the Center for Internal Audit / Cybersecurity Risk Management (CIA/CRM). This role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Accounting and Internal Auditing, as well as supporting the CIA/CRM program's major functions. The instructor will work closely with the Director and Associate Director to enhance student recruitment, placement, and employer engagement, and will also assist in coordinating the CIA's internship program.

Requirements

PhD. in Accounting or business related discipline
Master's degree in Accounting or Master's degree in a closely related business field with the Certified Internal Auditor certification, CISA, CISSP, CISM or CPA with 5+ years of experience

Nice To Haves

PhD in Accounting or closely related business related field
Industry related experience.
Specific work experience with internal controls desired.
CIA certification

Responsibilities

Teach Undergraduate / Graduate Classes in Accounting and / or Internal Auditing
Serve as the Assistant Director of the Center for Internal Audit / Cybersecurity Risk Management which will include working closely with the CIA/CRM Director & Associate Director in carrying out the major functions of the program (e.g., student recruitment, placement, employer engagement, etc.).
Assist with Internship Program Coordination: Support and coordinate the CIA's internship program, including working with students, faculty, employers, and College resources to facilitate internship opportunities and related academic requirements.
