About The Position

Brock University is seeking an Instructor for ADST 5P72 for the Winter D11 term in Toronto. This position is within the CUPE4207-1 employee group. The role involves scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time, including preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking and grading, and course administration. The course is planned for Fall/Winter 2026/27 terms with a primary in-person delivery, supplemented by synchronous and asynchronous online instruction. Instructors are expected to deliver course material in the required format and planned schedule. Requirements

  • Completed PhD in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, or related discipline.
  • Registered Behaviour Analyst in Ontario (applicants may also have a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA©) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D™) designation).
  • Demonstrated academic teaching and work experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
  • Experience in applied research with persons with disabilities and/or ABA.
  • Proven online teaching experience required – synchronous and asynchronous experience preferred.
  • Available to teach primarily IN PERSON IN TORONTO during the day on weekends (i.e. 9-5) as scheduled, some online instruction during evenings on weekdays as required, and asynchronous instruction (e.g., lectures, activities) as needed to meet course requirements.
  • Experience using Brightspace or other learning management systems.
  • Experience using video conferencing platforms (e.g., Lifesize, Microsoft Teams).
