About The Position

The Department of Theatre Arts at the University of North Dakota invites applications for a part-time instructor to teach Tap during the Spring 2027 semester. This position is contingent upon enrollment and availability of funding. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1 year of experience teaching tap to advanced dancers
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of experience teaching dance and tap to advanced and adult learners
  • Demonstrated understanding of musical theatre styles

Responsibilities

  • Teach one section of THEA 242: Tap
  • Support student growth in the course
