About The Position
Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher and/or principal. Assist in preparing, conducting, and managing of classroom activities. Maintain a highly structured and orderly environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate's degree, or 60 college credit hours, or pass the state paraprofessional assessment
- Experience working with children, preferably in a preschool setting
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Basic knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
- Experience with special needs students
