About The Position

Work collaboratively with faculty, instructional designers, and other staff to build and maintain online, remote, hybrid, and enhanced courses and programs, focusing on innovative techniques and practices. Provide support and assistance to faculty and students in the use of teaching and learning technologies through workshops, documentation, and real-time support.

Requirements

  • Requires a relevant Bachelor’s degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Requires a minimum of 4 years’ experience supporting faculty use of educational technology in a higher education setting.
  • Proficiency in educational technology tools and platforms technology including lecture capture, and a learning management system required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing educational landscapes required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
  • Two years of relevant work experience can substitute for each year of the education requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and support innovative educational technologies and digital tools that enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support to faculty in integrating technology into their curriculum.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in educational technology.
  • In coordination with the instructional design team, assist faculty in developing course content.
  • Create and curate a repository of resources, including instructional guides, templates, and best practices, to support faculty development.
  • Collaborate with academic departments, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation.
