About The Position

This is a part-time position for the 2026-2027 school year at Pate's Creek Elementary, focusing on Literacy. The Instructional Effectiveness Facilitator will work under the Principal and assist school leadership with the continuous improvement process, aligning program goals with the district vision. This role involves coordinating and facilitating professional development and coaching related to effective instruction, including literacy, student agency, engagement strategies, and academic acceleration. The facilitator will provide direct instructional support to staff through observations, data analysis, modeling, coaching, and feedback, and will collaborate with school leadership to ensure improvement efforts align with strategic plans. The position also includes serving on the school leadership team and attending required district trainings.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Georgia Educator Certificate or credentials required by the district, master's level preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of successful certified level experience in education, preferred.
  • Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and the community.
  • Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation.
  • Must abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
  • Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
  • Ability to be present at the physical worksite.
  • Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
  • Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to properly and consistently supervise students, particularly during emergency situations.
  • Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's level preferred for Georgia Educator Certificate.
  • Minimum of five years of successful certified level experience in education, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Principal and school leadership with implementation and evaluation of the continuous improvement process.
  • Assist with linking program goals and CSIPs to the district vision and strategic direction.
  • Coordinate and facilitate professional development and coaching support related to highly effective instruction to include, but not limited to, literacy, student agency and goal setting, learning engagement strategies, and academic acceleration.
  • Provide instructional support to school staff through classroom observations, data analysis, modeling, coaching, and feedback.
  • Work directly with school leadership to ensure school improvement efforts align with Henry’s Plan of Action for Student Achievement.
  • Serve on school leadership team.
  • Attend district trainings and meetings as required.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
