About The Position

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an Instructional Design Associate to assist their instructional design team in creating high-quality training programs and educational materials. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker who is passionate about learning and has a strong interest in instructional design. The work they do matters, as they are a line of defense against insurance companies, large corporations, or defective goods. Their mission is 'For the People.'

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Instructional Design or Adult Learning, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years as an instructional designer producing onboarding, upskilling, and development programs.
  • Working knowledge of content authoring tools, LMSs, and other learning technology platforms.
  • Working knowledge of visual design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, or Vyond.
  • Working knowledge of managing the design, development, and lifecycle of training programs.
  • Ability to work on computers, sit, and reach a screen for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-25% of time.

  • Experience working in a collaborative and fast-paced cross-functional environment preferred.
  • Experience working in legal services, personal injury, and case management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts and Stakeholders to plan and scope requirements for learning programs and curriculum.
  • Design and develop curriculum architecture to support operational roles.
  • Design and develop engaging, innovative, and effective training programs, which include instructor-led and eLearning training coursework.
  • Communicate complex learning concepts effectively.
  • Supply design documentation, storyboards, design mock-ups, and training assets.
  • Utilize eLearning authoring tools and other learning technology systems and platforms.
  • Manage and maintain curriculum and courses within scope.
  • Work with LMS admin to test and deploy content.
  • Work within standard operating procedures for the larger instructional design team.
  • Partner with a project manager and work within project management software to manage the day-to-day progress of work.
  • Collaborate with facilitators and provide trainer instruction for virtual and in-person classroom training.
  • Partner with multimedia specialists to create graphics, video, and other media assets to supplement courses.
  • Champion the ADDIE process, work effectively in a cross functional environment, collaborate with other learning professionals, and align with standard operating procedures across the training team.
