The Instructional Designer is responsible for creating engaging and effective learning experiences by designing, developing, and refining comprehensive training materials for diverse audiences and delivery methods. This role involves applying adult learning theories and instructional design principles to ensure content promotes knowledge retention and skill application. Collaborates with stakeholders, manages projects, and continuously evaluates and updates materials to maintain relevance and achieve measurable learning outcomes. This role designs, develops, and refines comprehensive training materials, including presentations, instructor guides, workbooks, and online resources, for both in-person and virtual learning environments. It integrates engaging visuals, diagrams, infographics, and multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience, ensuring visual appeal and brand alignment. The designer applies adult learning theories and instructional design principles to create content that promotes learner engagement, knowledge retention, and practical skill application. Key tasks include developing detailed lesson plans, agendas, and session outlines to structure content for effective delivery and measurable learning outcomes, and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, strategic alignment, and relevance to the target audience. The role also involves evaluating the effectiveness of training materials through feedback and performance analysis, implementing continuous updates and improvements. The Instructional Designer manages multiple content development projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion, adherence to quality standards, and alignment with the overall training strategy. They regularly update training content to reflect new product features, process changes, and emerging industry trends, maintaining relevance and accuracy. Support for training delivery is provided by equipping facilitators with current materials and necessary resources. The position also conducts needs assessments to identify learning gaps and determine appropriate instructional solutions and develops assessment strategies and tools to measure learning achievement and program effectiveness. Travel up to 25% of the time is required.
