About The Position

SWBC is seeking a talented individual who will create innovative, high-impact learning experiences using Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, Rise, and Vyond. This role applies advanced instructional design strategies and adult learning principles to develop engaging e-learning content that drives performance and engagement. Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in instructional design, including developing eLearning, ILT/VILT content.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, HR, OD or related is required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative and eLearning authoring tools including Articulate 360, Rise, and Vyond is required
  • Strong e-learning development proficiency is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Nice To Haves

  • Financial services and/or GAP & MMP Product knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design engaging instructional materials, including eLearning courses, instructor-led (ILT) and VILT training content, and blended learning solutions.
  • Revamp existing courses to enhance learner engagement through interactive design, storytelling, and visual appeal.
  • Oversee administration and user management of the Absorb LMS platform.
  • Lead instructional design projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality learning experiences.
  • Design and develop learning support materials including flyers, participation guides, and job aids to reinforce key concepts, enhance learner engagement, and support knowledge retention.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other team members to gather requirements, obtain feedback, and refine learning solutions.
  • Regularly update job aids for credit union officers to support products.
  • Leverage learning technologies and tools to enhance instructional design and delivery, including LMS, authoring tools, and multimedia production.
  • Stay up to date with the latest instructional design trends, adult learning theories, and technologies to continuously enhance learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with Training and Performance consultants to ensure materials are current, viable, and reflective of market needs.
  • Maintain consistency of content across various training materials.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements.
  • Ensures all instructional content aligns with the organization’s goals and standards.
