Taylor Company, a foodservice equipment manufacturing company, is seeking an entry-level creative team player to provide graphic design, develop educational curriculum content, and perform a variety of administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of graphic design along with expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or similar software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, with above average PowerPoint and Photoshop skills.
  • Familiarity with video editing tools and Learning Management Software such as Articulate or other SCORM software.
  • Excellent command of the English language and solid writing ability.
  • Solid project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • An appreciation for various learning styles and the ability to work with a diverse population of end users and a team of subject matter experts.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to focus on repetitious tasks for long periods of time.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communication, journalism, or other relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain multimedia training and presentation aids for educational and technical use. Tools will be formatted for both classroom and LMS formats.
  • Support Digital Learning Manager with the development of the Middleby University learning management system via graphic design, file manipulation, and text editing.
  • Collaborate with Technical Instructors, Digital Learning Manager, Service Representatives, Middleby University Staff, Sales Representatives and Customers to research and update technical content.
  • Support Distributor Development efforts by report preparation, maintaining records, and providing data analysis/research.
  • Test beta online training tools.
  • Support various company initiatives, such as video production, photography, and miscellaneous documentation and graphic design needs.
  • Support live training events by providing general administrative support, hosting diverse visitor groups, and fielding questions from distributors and customers.
