As a team member within Iowa’s Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health (CEBH), this position will lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality asynchronous, on-demand training courses for behavioral health professionals. This role collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs), program leaders, and state leaders to translate complex behavioral health content into engaging, accessible, and evidence-based learning experiences. A key responsibility of this position includes supporting the development of a statewide behavioral health crisis curriculum training course, ensuring alignment with best practices in crisis response, adult learning principles, and workforce development needs. Iowa’s Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health (CEBH) is an Iowa-based training and technical assistance center supporting behavioral health professionals’ development, implementation, and operation of evidence-based practices for individuals with serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance(s), and/or co-occurring condition(s). This is a specific term position with a projected end date of June 30, 2027, with strong likelihood of extension. This position is eligible to participate in remote work. Remote work must be performed at a location within the state of Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.
