This role will partner with technical subject matter experts, Operations, Engineering, Commissioning, and other stakeholders to transform complex technical information into structured curricula, qualification pathways, assessments, instructor-led courses, digital learning, and performance-support tools. Because the organization is in an early stage of development, this position will have significant influence over how training standards, learning processes, and workforce development programs are established and scale across multiple data center campuses. This is an opportunity to help build a technical training organization from the ground up. The Instructional Designer will play a central role in defining how Oracle develops, qualifies, and advances its critical facilities workforce—creating learning programs that directly influence site readiness, operational consistency, employee capability, and the long-term maturity of the data center operations organization. This role is part of a centralized Training Center of Excellence based in Nashville, TN and supports multiple data center campuses. Periodic travel may be required to conduct needs assessments, observe job performance, support pilot delivery, collaborate with site stakeholders, and evaluate training effectiveness.
