About The Position

SEL in-house Learning and Development Department seeks an experienced full-time Instructional Designer to help design, develop, and deliver innovative learning solutions that empower our employees to thrive in their current and future roles. As a member of the team, you’ll collaborate closely with subject matter experts, instructors , and other team members to create engaging training materials that align with our company's goals and objectives . These materials could include printable items, digital training modules, microlearning materials, animations, videos, infographics, materials to support live instruction through in-person or virtual training, and other activities .

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and objectives.
  • Outline, storyboard, and deliver engaging instructional materials, including e-learning modules, training videos, interactive modules , and more.
  • Utilize feedback from our stakeholders, learners, and leaders to improve learning content.
  • Apply instructional design methodologies to create learner-centric content that maximizes engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Incorporate multimedia elements, graphics, and interactive components to enhance learning experiences.
  • Adapt and repurpose existing content to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in instructional design and incorporate them into our training programs.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training materials and make necessary improvements.
  • Provide guidance and support to subject matter experts and instructors during the implementation of learning programs.
