This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to translate course maps into learning management system (LMS) course sites. The Instructional Designer will develop learning aids such as instructional guides and web simulations to facilitate knowledge transfer. Responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement through quality control and assurance processes, ensuring new and updated courses meet federal and state quality and accessibility requirements. The role also entails conducting needs assessments, designing and developing training for various delivery methods, providing analytical support for training curricula and strategies, and evaluating the effectiveness of training materials. Facilitating training classes and presenting to faculty, staff, and students is also part of the role.
