Instructional Coach

Curriculum Associates

About The Position

Curriculum Associates and Stile are seeking an experienced science teacher with a passion for instructional coaching and professional learning to work with schools implementing Stile and help improve student outcomes and engagement. The role involves teaching regular science classes in partner schools while teachers observe, then leading evidence-based debriefs using the Science Teaching Excellence Framework. The Instructional Coach supports schools throughout their implementation journey, from initial planning through sustained use of Stile as part of their science teaching. The role includes designing and delivering professional learning tailored to school priorities, including demonstration lessons, state roadshows, and in-person and virtual sessions. The coach builds strong relationships with Heads of Science and school leadership, reviews school usage and teaching practice data, and helps schools develop clear plans for improvement. The role also brings feedback from schools to Stile’s product and content teams. It is full-time, based in any major capital city, with regular travel to schools across the assigned state. Employees outside Melbourne work from home.
