About The Position

Instructional Coach supporting teachers in middle and high school. The goal of this position is to help ensure that teachers have the knowledge of and materials and methods needed to teach the Shelby County Courses of study in order that each student may achieve the greatest academic level possible.

Requirements

• Valid Alabama teacher’s certificate at the Master’s level or above.
• Minimum of five years successful teaching experience.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Deep knowledge of and experience in curriculum and instruction.
• Previous coaching or teacher leadership experience.
