About The Position
The Lansing School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant for its Summer School Enrichment program at Cumberland. This role is part of a larger summer school initiative with various positions available. The district is committed to providing an excellent education in a safe and nurturing environment and champions diversity, equity, and inclusion. This position is scheduled to run from June 15, 2026, to July 23, 2026, with 5 hours of instructional time per day, Monday through Thursday, for 6 weeks. The daily schedule is from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Requirements
- Internal applicants in the aligned bargaining unit will receive preference.
- Must be available from 6/15/26 - 7/23/26.
- Must be available Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am - 1:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Assist with instructional activities during summer school.
- Support students in a learning environment.
- Follow the schedule and programming as defined for the summer enrichment program.
Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage ($18.11 - $21.69).
