About The Position

Oakland School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant for Oakland High School. This position involves working directly with individual students or small groups who require special instructional assistance to reinforce learning materials or skills. The assistant will support students in regular, Title 1, Special Education, or any other district or building instructional programs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or the equivalent, associate degree, 2 years of College or the equivalent.
• General clerical skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with children and adults.
• Such alterations to the above as the Board may find appropriate.

Responsibilities
