About The Position

Oakland School District is seeking a Cook Aide to assist in meal preparation and serving. This is a classified position working 6 hours per day on a 4-day school week. The role involves operating the dishwasher, cleaning, and performing tasks that require significant physical exertion.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or the Equivalent
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with children and adults
• Physical ability to handle heavy cartons bags and other containers associated with the job
• Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs
• Maintain current Food Handlers Certificate

Nice To Haves

• Experience with large volume food preparation helpful
