About The Position
This position is for an Instructional Assistant in the Resource Room program at South Career Tech Academy. The role involves supporting students within the LRE (Local Education Agency) framework and requires 9 months of employment with 5 hours per day.
Requirements
- High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., General Educational Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.).
- A valid driver's license or state-issued identification card.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certificate from either the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization. Certification must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Certification training must be in-person and include a hands-on component. Online courses will not be accepted.
- High school transcript or other equivalent (i.e., GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Copy of a valid driver's license or state-issued identification card.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Automatic External Defibrillator certificate as indicated above.
- Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.
