About The Position
The Instructional Assistant (LRE) position is a 9-month role with 4.1 hours per day, working within the Resource Room program. This role supports educational activities and students within the LRE program.
Requirements
- High school graduation or other equivalent (General Education Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.).
- A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
- Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization. Certification must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Certification training must be in-person and include a hands-on component. Online courses will not be accepted.
- High school transcript or other equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Copy of a valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
- Current CPR/AED certificate as indicated above. A copy of the front and back of the CPR/AED certificate must be uploaded into the application.
- Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.
- External applicants must have attached the required documents listed in the job description and completed the full three (3) year work history, including periods of unemployment, in the "Experience and Credential" section of the application.
Nice To Haves
- Successful completion of the Language Proficiency Test, as, measured by a District-approved third-party administrator.
