About The Position
Fleming Middle School is seeking two Instructional Assistants for the 2026/27 school year. This position involves working with students in grades 6-8, assisting teachers, and performing supervision duties. The role requires the ability to take initiative, be self-directed, and discipline with dignity. New hires will be placed on a salary scale based on prior contracted educational experience. The position is for 7 hours per day, 4 days per week, on a 155-day calendar.
Requirements

- Two (2) years of college coursework or Associate's Degree (May be waived pending successful performance on skills test administered by the District)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must qualify or be able to meet standard for highly qualified para-professional
- Person filling this position will have to be fingerprinted
