About The Position

U.S. Healthcare Services provides in-home services to students throughout Pennsylvania who attend Cyber Charter School. This is an in-person, one-on-one opportunity to provide support services to a 9th grader near Shippensburg, PA, for 5 hours/week during the school day. This is per-diem independent contract work that is flexible and convenient.

Requirements

• Completion of some college coursework
• Able to obtain clearances

• Experience working with children preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one assistance and encourage participation in live online sessions.
• Foster a supportive classroom environment by providing positive reinforcement, redirection, and strategies for self-regulation.
• Adapt instructional materials as directed by the teacher.
• Reinforce lessons and concepts introduced by the teacher.
• Check class work and assist with homework.
