About The Position
The Instructional Assistant - Special Education assists, under direct supervision, with the supervision and instruction of students enrolled in a special education curriculum and helps teachers with clerical duties. Job duties are likely to include student toileting and diapering. The position is 3.75 hours per day for 9.75 months per year, at a location to be determined. The listed monthly salary range is $1,417.93–$1,723.99, with placement in Ranges A–E based on verified related experience, up to five years. Applicants must meet a rigorous standard of quality by providing proof of either an associate’s degree or higher, or successful passage of a formal local academic assessment or ECESD Competency Exam. Requirements
