About The Position

This is a part-time (25-hours per week) Instructional Assistant position in a self-contained special education setting. Multiple positions are available. Employees must complete 5 hours of Basic Training provided by the JSD Special Education Department within one week of hire. Additional training of 40 hours is available through the Special Education department, which can lead to an increase to lane 5 upon completion within six months of the hire date.

Requirements

• Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department within one week of hire as a condition of employment.
• Must complete additional 40 hours of training through the Special Education department within six (6) months from hire date as a condition of employment.
