About The Position

This is a part-time Instructional Assistant position in a Self-Contained Special Education classroom (AU / SEB Cluster classrooms). The position is 25 hours per week and requires the willingness to obtain paraprofessional certifications and attend training sessions. Employees must complete 5 hours of Basic Training provided by the JSD Special Education Department within one week of hire. Additional training of 40 hours is available through the Special Education department, which can lead to an increase to lane 5 upon completion within six months of the hire date.
