About The Position

The Department of History at Illinois State University is creating a pool of applicants for possible openings for Instructional Assistant Professors. These positions involve teaching in-person U.S., European, or non-Western history. The History Department serves approximately 500 majors and has about 25 tenure-track and non-tenure-track faculty. Typical class sizes range from 20 to 88 students. This is a non-tenure-track teaching position.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in History
  • Ability to demonstrate oral proficiency in the English language as mandated by state law
