Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), a member of the Texas A&M University System, is seeking an Instructional Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2026. TAMIU is a Hispanic Serving Institution with over 8,000 students located in Laredo, Texas. The university focuses on advancing knowledge through research, teaching, learning, community engagement, and public service, with an emphasis on student success and research excellence. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, 9-month academic faculty appointment. The primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate Kinesiology courses (15-semester credit hours per semester) such as biomechanics, exercise physiology, athletic training, and adapted physical activity. The role also involves providing review sessions for students and contributing to service activities for the college, university, and community. This position requires regular on-campus attendance and face-to-face interactions in the workplace.
