About The Position

This position is for an Instructional Assistant in a Resource Room program, specifically within the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE). The role involves supporting students in a resource room setting. Applicants are required to review the job description and attach all necessary documents to their application. Out-of-district applicants must disclose their three most recent years of work experience, including any periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work in the "Experience and Credentials" section of the application.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or other equivalent (General Education Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.).
  • A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
  • Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization. Certification must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Certification training must be in-person and include a hands-on component. Online courses will not be accepted.
  • High school transcript or other equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
  • Copy of a valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
  • Current CPR/AED certificate as indicated above. A copy of the front and back of the CPR/AED certificate must be uploaded into the application.
  • Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Successful completion of the Language Proficiency Test, as, measured by a District-approved third-party administrator.
