About The Position
This position is for an Instructional Assistant in a Resource Room program, specifically within the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE). The role is for 9 months, with 5 hours per day. Applicants are required to review the job description and attach all necessary documents. Out-of-district applicants must provide the three most recent years of work experience, including dates of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work in the 'Experience and Credentials' section.
Requirements
- High school graduation or other equivalent (General Education Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.).
- A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
- Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization. Certification must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Certification training must be in-person and include a hands-on component. Online courses will not be accepted. A copy of the front and back of the CPR/AED certificate must be uploaded into the application.
- High school transcript or other equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Copy of a valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
- Current CPR/AED certificate as indicated above. A copy of the front and back of the CPR/AED certificate must be uploaded into the application.
- Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.
Nice To Haves
- Successful completion of the Language Proficiency Test, as, measured by a District-approved third-party administrator.
