About The Position
This is a part-time, permanent position for an Instructional Assistant I at Cambridge Heights School, working 6 hours per day, which equates to 0.75 FTE. The role involves supporting students in an elementary instructional setting. The work year is 9 months, with 206 days per year, and the work day is 6 hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The salary range is $18.11 - $20.65 per hour.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Passing score from San Juan Unified School District's Proficiency Exam (April 2005 to current)
- Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
- Passing the IA Proficiency Test or having the CBEST is required, regardless of educational background.
- If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, you must have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university.
Nice To Haves
- Possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
