About The Position
The Instructional Assistant I will work 6 hours per day, 0.75 FTE, at Howe Avenue School. This is a permanent, full-time position within the Support Staff & Services category, specifically Instructional Support. The role involves working with groups of children and requires specific qualifications and documentation to pre-qualify, especially for Title I sites.
Requirements
- List on application experience that is relevant to this position.
- Passing score from SJUSD's Proficiency Exam - testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school districts proficiency exam accepted.
- Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
- OFFICIAL transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units)
- Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher). If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university.
- In some programs, possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
