Support the instructional needs of English language learners in an inclusive monolingual setting or bilingual dual immersion setting. Assist with the implementation of LPAC responsibilities for Bilingual and ESL program compliance in grades Pre-K-12, as assigned. LPAC responsibilities include OLPT testing of ELL students, arrangements and preparation of LPAC meetings, keeping records of LPAC procedures, maintaining documentation for ELLs’ cumulative folders, recording all LPAC-related required information in the web-based student data system (ELLEVATE/FOCUS/PEIMS), monitor ELLs failures reports and intervention procedures via LPAC decision-making at assigned campus; maintain inventory of all bilingual/ESL instructional support materials provided at assigned campus, and reporting findings and procedures to the Bilingual/ESL Department.
