About The Position

This position is located at Evergreen Elementary School. The role involves assisting teachers with elementary school students, including supervision and conducting small reading groups. The position is for 7 hours per day, 4 days per week, for 155 days per year. Bilingual and biliterate candidates are encouraged to apply. Requirements

• Two (2) years of college coursework or Associate's Degree (May be waived pending successful performance on skills test administered by the District)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Person filling this position will have to be fingerprinted
• Able to work with small children
• Proficient in elementary school level math, spelling, reading and English usage
• Good computer skills
• Ability to take initiative and be self-directed
• Ability to discipline with dignity
• Must qualify or be able to meet standard for highly qualified para-professional
