About The Position

This position is located at Evergreen Elementary School. The role involves assisting teachers with elementary school students, including supervision and conducting small reading groups. The position requires 7 hours per day, 4 days per week, for 155 days per year.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of college coursework or Associate's Degree (May be waived pending successful performance on skills test administered by the District)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Person filling this position will have to be fingerprinted
• Able to work with small children
• Proficient in elementary school level math, spelling, reading and English usage
• Good computer skills
• Ability to take initiative and be self-directed
• Ability to discipline with dignity
• Must qualify or be able to meet standard for highly qualified para-professional
