About The Position
Under the direction of an assigned Principal, assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individuals or small groups of limited or non-English speaking students in a classroom environment by translating written materials and oral lectures; translate for teachers or non-English speaking parents as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school.
- Some experience working with children in an organized setting.
- Proficiency in English and a designated second language.
- Must be proficient in both Spanish and English.
- Ability to speak Spanish is required and will be evaluated during the Qualifications Appraisal Interview (Oral Exam) phase of the recruitment.
